This is a 2006 Raleigh Cadent 1.0 in Cadent Blue. It is a 56 cm / Large (center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube) Atomic 13 Aluminum frame with a Carbon Fiber fork. The stand over height is 31.5″ directly in front of the saddle.
There are 24 speeds available through the Truvativ three ring (30/40/52t) front crank set and the 8 gear (12-26t) SRAM PG-850 freehub.
The rear derailleur is a Shimano Tiagra and the front is a Shimano 2200. Shifting is through Shimano Sora STI shifters (Brifters).
Both wheels are quick release Alexrims DC19 alloy wheels with Vittoria Zaffiro 700x25c tires.
Braking is handled by Tektro dual pivot caliper brakes with quick release.
The black saddle is mounted to an alloy seat post that moves freely in the seat tube.
There is a bottle cage on the down tube and bosses for a bottle cage on the seat tube.
The bicycle rides, turns, stops and shifts through all of the gears and rings.
A really attractive combination of light and dark blue paint makes for a subtle aluminum frame/carbon fork road bike. This bicycle appears to have had very little use and to have been well cared for.
For less than the price of a generic Bike Shaped Object that you might buy online or from a store that sells bicycles in the Toy Department, you could be riding this vintage bicycle with quality components. The fact that it is still rolling down the road is a testament to how well it was built.
