This is a Giant Cypress ST in Platinum with Silver decals. It is a 17.5″ /   44.5 cm / Small (center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube) Welded Cro-Mo Steel frame with a steel fork. The stand over height is 26″ directly in front of the saddle.

There are 21 speeds available through the three ring crank with alloy crank arms with platform pedals and the Shimano 7 gear Mega-Range (14-34t) freewheel.

The rear derailleur is a Shimano Tourney TX and the front is also a Shimano.  Shifting is through Handlebar Mounted Grip Shifters.

Both wheels are alloy rims laced to quick release alloy hubs. Both wheels have Kenda 700x38c blackwall tires with Schrader valves.

Braking is handled by alloy V Brakes.

The black and sky blue saddle is mounted to an alloy suspension post that moves freely in the seat tube. There is a small tear on the drive side front of the saddle.

There are eyelets for front and rear fenders, bottle cage bosses are on the Downtube. There mounting points for a rear rack.

The bicycle rides, turns, stops and shifts through all of the gears and rings.

A easy, upright riding position with a lot of gears to choose from. Add a rack and use it as a commuter. The wide tires and deep tread mean you’ll be a Le to ride on the road or down a gravel path with equal ease.

For less than the price of a generic Bike Shaped Object that anyone might buy online or from a store that sells bicycles in the Toy Department, you could have this vintage bicycle with quality components. The fact that it is still rolling down the road is a testament to how well it was built.
